College of Applied Science
College of Applied Science, Ayalur, established by the Institute of Human Resource Development (IHRD) in 2011, is affiliated with the University of Calicut. Regular courses began in June 2012, including B.Sc. Computer Science(24 seats ), B.Sc. Electronics (24 seats ), B.Com. with Computer Application (40 seats), M.Sc. Computer Science started in 2024 (10 seats). The College is situated at Ayalur Grama Panchayat 4 km away from Nemmara Bus stand, 50km away from Palakkad and Thrissur Railway stations.
Institute of Human Resources Development is dedicated to the scientific advancement, technological progress and economic growth of the country through human resources development. Based on the principle, "Think Globally and Act Locally" it endeavours to bring about the welfare of the nation. It endeavours to provide education and training of consistently high standard through innovative and versatile programmes suitable for the current and emerging needs of the community.
